Kate’s vision for KB Design sparked while planning her own wedding. “I recognized that many brides fall victim to simply checking things off their list, I wanted to do more.” While planning, Kate decided “an event is more than just an event…it’s an experience for everyone in the room.”

In 2005, Kate followed the entrepreneurial pixie dust and formed KB Design. Prior to opening her luxury event branding business Kate worked as an art director within the corporate and advertising agency environments.

Kate is an active member in the local and national event industry, providing leadership to groups such as:
